That’s why we have added Allego Holding B.V as a new partner, a leading pan-European electric vehicle charging network, providing Allstar One Electric customers with access to an additional 348 chargers across 140 locations in the UK.
Allego’s end-to-end charging solution works to provide the infrastructure to support fleets as they make the switch to EV.
The deal will welcome 348 chargers to the Allstar network, taking the network to over 2,000 locations with around 5,700 chargers. Of the 348 Allego chargers, 150 are fast chargers and 198 are rapid chargers, allowing drivers to easily charge their vehicles efficiently without experiencing long wait times.
Our partnership with Allego helps to remove some of the biggest barriers to entry for EV owners and businesses. We now offer greater access to charging points for drivers, with a network of over 5,700 chargers and counting - reducing range anxiety considerably amongst our network.
Furthermore, Allstar customers will have full visibility of the growing network of chargers through Zap-Map, the UK’s No.1 EV charging app, allowing customers to search, plan and pay for EV charging across the Allstar network.
With 15% of all new cars sold now electric and the UK set to stop selling new ICE vehicles by 2030, it is crucial that we see a rise in EV adoption.
The partnership with Allego will enable us to work towards our goal of creating a fast, rapid & ultra-rapid strategic EV charging network that is convenient and gives full national coverage. We aim to continue to expand our network throughout 2022 and beyond to ensure that our customers have access to the most convenient and efficient way to charge their vehicles.
