How does Near-Home Charging work?

1. Your driver is matched with a host

We pair drivers without a charger or driveway at home, with trusted local ‘hosts’ within a walkable distance who will share their charger. The driver will then be linked to their host through the Co Charger app.

2. Driver books in charging sessions with host

The driver pre-books charge sessions so the host can make their charger available. Once the charge session is complete, their usage is tracked automatically, and costs are covered by the business.

3. Costs combined in one HMRC-compliant invoice

The driver links their Chargepass card to the Co Charger app to pay. Near-Home Charging is then consolidated into a single HMRC-compliant invoice, reducing manual expense processes for your business.
